Samagra Foundation promotes the recycling and reusability of day-to-day household items for the edification of the less fortunate. We strive to make the saying ‘Sharing is Caring’ more relatable to the society by inspiring the youth to propogate this principle.
Samagra Foundation ran it’s first campaign of aid on 14th of June, 2016. The response was quite overwhelming. Our main focus was on non-cash donations to promote reusability and better utilisation of resources.
To date, our generous donors have contributed more than two thousand good quality and non spoiled clothes and blankets , which has been put to productive use. The donations in kind ranges from daily stationary to food . We have been actively and frequently carrying out such campaigns to maximise the outreach and timely benefits for the underprivileged.
‘Sharing is caring’ has helped spread thousand of smiles on both the sides, and has become a catalyst for change, which ultimately led to the creation of the WeCare movement.
We highly value the donations-in kind received by us, and the role they play in the development and progress of a society. We aim to ensure the best allocation of donations by employing the 3R strategy: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle .
We have also collaborated with many local organizations and benevolent people recently to scale our operations.
We would soon be releasing a list of 100+ WeCare centres for the donations. Donors are welcome to donate whatever they might feel would be useful in any desired capacity. No donation is too small. Our dedicated team of volunteers would then distribute them in the tribal/rural areas for their upliftment.
