Vinaya Overview

Life Skills & Values Education for Adolescents

Vinaya is a flagship life skills education initiative by Samagra Foundation aimed at nurturing character, communication, and confidence among school-going adolescents. It is specially designed for children and teens from underprivileged backgrounds including those living in slums, orphanages, shelter homes, and government schools.

Why Vinaya?

In underserved communities, adolescents often lack emotional support, role models, and exposure to decision-making frameworks. This gap contributes to:

  • Poor academic outcomes
  • Risky behavior and substance abuse
  • Lack of confidence and goal-setting ability
  • Gender inequality and harmful stereotypes

Vinaya fills this gap by integrating emotional, social, and ethical education into their daily lives—helping young people build a strong foundation for adulthood.

Objectives

Vinaya inspires young hearts to rise with confidence, empathy, and purpose, ready to shape a brighter tomorrow.

  • Develop emotional resilience and mental strength
  • Build effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Foster critical thinking and ethical decision-making
  • Promote gender sensitivity and empathy
  • Encourage self-awareness and responsible behavior

By supporting this mission, you help empower the next generation to lead with strength, compassion, and integrity.

The strength of lasting change lies in the small building blocks
