How We Help Youth Dropouts Return to the Workforce

Restoring Hope, Rebuilding Futures

In India, millions of youth leave school due to poverty, family pressure, or lack of guidance—only to find themselves stuck in a cycle of unemployment, low self-esteem, and limited opportunities. At Samagra Foundation, we believe dropping out is not the end—it’s a new beginning.

Through our skill development programmes, digital learning platforms, and placement support, we’re enabling youth who left formal education to re-enter the workforce with confidence and dignity.

๐ŸŒŸ The Problem We’re Solving

According to recent government estimates, over 62 million youth in India are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training). Many of them come from marginalized backgrounds—urban slums, tribal areas, or conflict-ridden households.

These youth often lack:

  • Access to vocational education
  • Mentorship and career counseling
  • Confidence and soft skills
  • Supportive work environments

Without targeted intervention, they remain excluded from the formal economy—and society at large.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Our 360° Solution

At Samagra Foundation, we don’t offer just “courses”—we build livelihood pathways. Here’s how:

1. Identification & Counseling

We conduct outreach through slum visits, community centers, and schools to identify dropouts. Trained field officers provide:

  • Life skills workshops
  • Individual development plans

They receive certificates boosting their credibility.

4. Job Placement Support

We don’t stop at training. Our dedicated placement team:

  • Connects candidates with retail stores, warehouses, microfinance firms

  • Follows up post-placement to ensure retention

So far, we’ve placed hundreds of youth in stable, dignified jobs with growth potential.

5. Continuous Mentoring

Each youth receives 6–12 months of mentoring post-employment to help them:

  • Navigate workplace challenges
  • Upskill for better opportunities
  • Dream beyond their first job
