According to Environment Protection Agency, it has been proved that Lead (Pb) has been found in drinking water resources in schools. Also the issue of cleanliness is an everlasting one.

Hydration is the basic need of any living being. When it comes to children,  parents can keep an eye on what type of water is their son/daughter drinking.
Then this situation arises, when children are in their school. How will the parents be able to tell that their children are drinking safe water?
According to Environment Protection Agency, it has been proved that Lead (Pb) has been found in drinking water resources in schools. Also the issue of cleanliness is an everlasting one.
Over 85% of public elementary schools have made a provision of drinking water in the 2016 (Data collected by Annual Status of Education Report {ASER}). It was found by them that as a result of improper and non timely maintenance and cleaning of water tanks the students got diseases like diarrhoea, bacterial infection, etc. Students studying in these public schools are the future of India. People are ignoring the fact that though they are not  our children but still they are children and all children must be taken proper care of. They must be provided with proper food and most importantly safe drinking water.
Schools have been ignoring these children and still are not cleaning and doing proper maintenance of water sources. This can cause a mass spread of water borne diseases like Cholera, Guinea Worm Disease, Typhoid, etc.

Samagra Foundation has taken the initiative of trying to get these kids get proper, safe and treated drinking water atleast in their schools. According to us, getting proper and safe drinking water is a right for all the living beings on earth.
But we can’t do this alone. We will be requiring your support.
All you have to do is just sign this petition and we will try our best to make the facility of safe drinking water in public schools.
